Established in 1985 and based in Oak Park, Illinois, we are a trauma-informed, community-based organization dedicated to transforming lives through innovative workforce development programs. We serve youth aged sixteen to twenty-four and adults facing barriers to employment across Cook County, equipping them with marketable job skills through paid internships, vocational training, career counseling, and certification programs. Our holistic approach includes supportive housing assistance, transportation, childcare, and family services to help participants achieve self-sufficiency. Each year we create meaningful career pathways for over two hundred individuals, helping one hundred families move toward economic stability regardless of race, color, or religious affiliation.
