As the official public workforce system designated by the U.S. Department of Labor and the State of Missouri, we connect unemployed and underemployed residents of the Greater Kansas City area with meaningful employment. A business-led private nonprofit, we serve Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte, and Ray counties with career counseling, debt-free training, apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and direct job placement. Our focus sectors include advanced manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, logistics, and business and finance. In 2024 alone, we served 15,000 people and helped more than 600 individuals secure jobs averaging .44 per hour.
