Our Workforce Development department at Elgin Community College offers free, personalized job search assistance to adults and youth in the greater Elgin, Illinois area. We provide one-on-one coaching, resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, and career change guidance from experienced advisors who understand the local job market. Regular workshops held the first and third Wednesday of each month cover job search strategies, networking techniques, and employer expectations. Through our partnership with College Central Network, job seekers also gain access to a broad online platform featuring part-time, internship, and full-time employment opportunities across a wide range of industries.
