Founded in 1993, we are a community-created nonprofit organization providing an organized and supportive place for the people of Malibu to hire and be hired. Operating as a 501(c)(3) from our location near the Malibu Civic Center, we facilitate connections between local residents seeking help with day labor and skilled workers looking for opportunities to build independence and self-sufficiency. Our services are completely free to both hirers and workers, with no fees charged to either party. We also offer free ESL classes and support programs to help our workers develop new skills. Our mission is to create dignified employment opportunities that strengthen our community one connection at a time.
