A private nonprofit organization with roots going back to 1964, we have dedicated our mission to addressing the needs of economically challenged individuals through education, job skills training, literacy, and employment services. Our network spans community-based organizations in more than 200 cities across 19 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington D.C. We offer vocational training, English instruction, counseling, on-the-job training, job search and placement assistance, and general educational development. Our ultimate goal is to place program participants into permanent, unsubsidized employment, with a strong track record of helping people land middle-skills jobs in growing industries.
