Founded nearly 50 years ago in the heart of Overtown, Miami, we are a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of crime and poverty by helping previously incarcerated and underserved residents of Miami-Dade County become gainfully employed. Our programs combine job readiness training, vocational certification, resume preparation, and direct job placement to prepare returning citizens for lasting careers. Through partnerships with employers in construction, warehousing, landscaping, restaurant, and hospitality sectors, we connect our clients with real opportunities. We also operate the CareerSource South Florida Ex-Offender Service Center and partner with Miami-Dade Corrections on the Boot Camp Re-entry Program for young adults. Having served over 35,000 individuals since our founding, we remain committed to empowering communities through employment.
