We are the local workforce development board serving Johnson, Leavenworth, and Wyandotte counties in the Kansas City metro area, operating a network of career centers that connect job seekers with meaningful employment and employers with qualified talent. Our services include career counseling, resume and interview preparation, candidate recruitment and screening, customized assessments, training solutions, and labor market insights. Each year we serve over 13,000 job seekers and partner with more than 800 employers, while also providing youth workforce programs for young adults ages 16 to 24 in STEM fields and vocational training. Our mission is building a workforce system that strengthens both careers and communities.
