Since 1973, we have been providing transformative job training and education to Oakland youth and young adults ages 14 to 24 who are impacted by poverty, the justice system, foster care, homelessness, and school underachievement. Our programs combine job readiness training, financial literacy, and critical skill building with hands-on work experience across more than 100 employer partner sites throughout the community. Having served over 34,500 young people with an 85 percent training completion rate and 78 percent placement in employment or advanced education, we operate one of the highest-performing youth workforce development programs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
